About
I often work at the intersection of design, psychology, and technology, aiming to create positive and meaningful change. I enjoy untangling complex systems with many stakeholders, translating them into stories that feel grounded and humane.
Right now, I'm especially interested in the strategies to reduce stress and anxiety in airport experiences, as well as the ways that we can improve food access, resiliency, and nutrition in city-scale food systems.
My Design Philosophy
βSuccess is not final; failure is not fatal; It is the courage to continue that counts.β - Winston Churchill
To me, design is accepting critique, turning it into better outcomes by questioning assumptions and reshaping systems to improve the lives of everyone. From the F1 in Schools program to my recent graduate study, I've learned that good design is all about deliberate decision-making, based in evidence, which can have the power to reshape cities and dismantle inequities. Grounded in a lifelong meditation practice, I sit with ambiguity and stay curious, mindful that design decisions reverberate across communities and must weigh consequences, context, and bias.
